Have fresh milk and its fermented products

Fresh milk and its fermented products are not necessary to be a part of daily diet.  However, they can contribute to increase dietary diversity when taken on the basis of individual preference within recommended amounts.

  • Better to consume low fat or non-fat fresh milk or its fermented products.
  • Limit consumption of sweetened, coloured and flavoured milk, yogurts, yoghurt drinks, and condensed milk.
