District Nutrition Planning Unit

  • Central level coordination with district teams on District Nutrition Action Plan(DNAP) activities
  • Provision of guidance and technical expertise for development of DNAP proposals and technical review of DNAP proposals
  • Ensuring timely provision of Financial support for DNAP activities.
  • Monitoring of physical progress of DNAP activities
  • Planning , organizing and implementation of Annual National nutrition Month activities.
  • Annual district review and development of recommendations for targeted interventions in collaboration with SIM unit
  • Development of mechanism for linking Nutrition division with other ministries that conduct Nutrition Sensitive Programmes.
